Background
Irene Diamond is an
accomplished entertainer who sings and plays piano. She is a mezzo
soprano with a wide vocal range who sings an eclectic variety of
popular music, ballads, jazz standards, and Irene can perform pop
and classical music on the piano.
Irene is a classically trained
musician and grew up in Milwaukee, graduated from Southern Methodist
University in Dallas, and attended the Aspen Music School and the
adult division of the Juilliard School. Irene has received numerous
awards and mentored several fine musicians in the art of piano
playing. She has strong skills in accompanying, style
interpretation, sight reading, and the ability to blend with other
musicians.
